Swipe Technologies has launched its latest tablet SwipeX703 in India. Priced at Rs 7,499, the tablet is exclusively available on Snapdeal.

In terms of specifications, Swipe X703 features a 10.1-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixel resolution. Powering the tablet is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded further using a microSD card.

The tablet runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and boasts a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, along with a 2MP front camera to facilitate video calling. It is backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery and offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

Last month, Swipe Technologies announced it aims to reach $100 million in revenue over the next two years, as it expands its product portfolio.


The company recently also launched the Swipe Elite Plus at a price of Rs 6,999. The smartphone features a 5-inch Full HD IPS display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The display is claimed to reproduce 40% more colours as compared to a regular LCD display. Pixel density stands at around 440ppi.


Under-the-hood, the Elite Plus packs an octa-coreQualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of in-built storage which can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. Users also receive 100GB of cloud storage through SwipeBox.


As for the cameras, the Swipe Elite Plus includes a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. The handset supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and Micro USB (with OTG) for connectivity. There's also a 3050mAh battery rounding up the spec sheet.
